 Gospel Spells Good News 

Good and evil have opposed one another since Adam and eve.  Problems continue to result so we need to learn to conquer.  The Gospels teach us the Way through Jesus; the Holy Spirit gifts us with Grace to respond.  The greatest evil is SIN.  When we follow Jesus we call on Him to help us in times of temptation.

The word Gospel means Good News.  Everyone likes to hear good news, yet not everyone knows about the Good News of the Gospel.  The Father teaches us clearly through John 3: 16.  This quote tells it like this: ‘God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have eternal life.’ 

Now notice how you can memorize this favorite quotation.  ‘God so loved the world that he gave his Only begotten Son so that whoever believes in him will not Perish but will have Eternal Life.  Now just read the 6 words that stand out.  Next just say the first letter of those 6 words.  What word does it spell?  We find the beautiful GOSPEL written for us in the NEW TESTAMENT of the BIBLE.

God the Father sent Jesus Christ to earth so that He would pay the price for sin, all sin, everybody’s sin, from Adam and Eve through all time.  He died for us on Calvary and so opened the gates of Heaven for us. So many people do not know this, but Jesus wants us to spread the GOOD NEWS, the GOSPEL.  Will you?
